The State of Oklahoma has carried out its second execution of the year. Jemaine Cannon was given a lethal injection at the State Penitentiary in McAlester this morning. Cannon was executed for the murder of 20-year old Sharonda Clark of Tulsa in 1995. Clark was stabbed to death just three weeks after Cannon had escaped from prison while serving a 15-year sentence for beating another 18-year old woman.
