Stitt Calls for Accountability In McCurtain County Investigation

Governor Stitt says that nobody is above the law. His message comes after he challenged Attorney General Gentner Drummond to hold McCurtain County Sheriff Kevin Clardy accountable for complaints of misconduct. The allegations center around comments heard on an audio recording where the sheriff and other local officials were discussing threats against a newspaper publisher and his reporter son. Stitt previously called for the sheriff to resign. As of now, Sheriff Clardy hasn't announced any plans to step down.
