A man convicted of a 1974 murder could get a new trial. Glynn Simmons appeared in court yesterday for an evidentiary hearing after the Oklahoma County district attorney called for a new trial in the case. Simmons was convicted of killing a store clerk at an Edmond liquor store in 1974, and he has maintained his innocence in the four-decades since. Oklahoma County District Attorney Vicki Behenna says Simmons wasn't given a fair trial to begin with and that a police report wasn't turned over in the original case.
