A bill that would protect a student-athlete's ability to profit off their name, image and likeness is one step closer to becoming law in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma House has approved a measure that would allow student-athletes to make money without having to work with a licensed sports agent. Supporters of the legislation say it will make Oklahoma schools more competitive in attracting recruits.
